On January 17, 2026, the launching ceremony of the 2026 IFOAM Asia Eco-Building Conference & Asia Organic Exhibition was grandly held at Nanjing Agricultural University.This event was co-hosted by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements Asia Chapter (IFOAM-Asia), the Institute of Organic Agriculture and Organic Food at Nanjing Agricultural University, and other organizations. It brought together numerous representatives from the entire organic agriculture industrial chain, including production and processing enterprises, brand owners, supply chain managers, certification bodies, as well as scientific research, education and industry promotion institutions.As a professional international organic product certification body in China, Shanghai Shiying Certification Service Co., Ltd. (“Shiying Certification” for short) was invited to attend the conference, where it discussed the current status and future of the organic industry with industry peers.
During the conference, representatives from Shiying Certification actively participated in the agenda and engaged in extensive and in-depth exchanges with various industry stakeholders.The company’s representatives joined panel discussions in the sub-forums on organic education and organic supply chains, offering insights and suggestions for the sound and sustainable development of the industry.They also held productive communications with key institutions including IFOAM-China and the Institute of Organic Agriculture and Organic Food at Nanjing Agricultural University.Both sides reached important consensus on strengthening future cooperation and jointly fostering a healthy ecosystem for the organic industry and the certification sector.
At the launching ceremony, a number of key cooperation projects and important industry initiatives were officially launched one after another.Professor Guo Hui, Director of the Institute of Organic Agriculture at Nanjing Agricultural University, and Dr. Li Feng, China Representative of IFOAM Asia, jointly signed the Joint Construction Agreement for Organic Academy, marking that both parties will build an important industry-education integration platform for the training of professional talents for the organic industry.
Cao Qingsen, General Manager of Shiying Certification Beijing Branch, and Xu Minjuan, Deputy General Manager, met with Professor He Wenlong, Founding Director of the Institute of Organic Agriculture and Organic Food at Nanjing Agricultural University, and Dr. Li Feng, Head of IFOAM China. It is also learned that the 2026 IFOAM Asia Organic Industry Expo will be held at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center from June 15 to 17, 2026.On that occasion, Shiying Certification will participate in the exhibition together with representatives of a number of certified enterprises, pooling industrial strengths, promoting collaborative cooperation, and jointly writing a new chapter for the future development of the organic industry.
