From February 10 to 13, 2026, BIOFACH 2026—the 37th annual global flagship event for the organic food industry—was successfully held in Nuremberg, Germany.Mr. Xin Yuan, Managing Director of SRS Certification (hereinafter referred to as SRS), led a delegation and attended the exhibition together with Ms. Farzaneh, Certification Manager of SRS.By participating in this exhibition, SRS aims to further strengthen its position as a professional certification body through on-site assessment of the global supply chain, high-level technical exchanges, and fulfillment of its responsibilities as an international industry organization.

Connecting the World: Delving into the Frontlines of Organic Supply Chains Across Asia, Africa and Europe
As a professional certification body with an international vision, SRS focused its trip on gaining an in-depth understanding of the actual demands and supply chain dynamics in major production regions worldwide. During the exhibition, Mr. Xin Yuan and his delegation visited customer booths in various national pavilions intensively, conducting on-site research across every link from raw material cultivation to finished product export.
In terms of the international market, the SRS team focused on the organic industry potential in Africa and countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.
West African Pavilion
At the booths of Togolese enterprises Trinity Organics and Vyapar, the team held in-depth discussions with clients on the compliance details for exporting organic soybeans, sesame seeds, cottonseed meal and other products to the EU, as well as how certification can enhance the added value of African agricultural products.
Indian Pavilion
The team exchanged in-depth views with a number of outstanding local organic enterprises in India, gaining detailed insights into the current situation of organic crop cultivation, standardized production processes and overseas export layouts. Both sides conducted thorough discussions on EU organic certification standards, full-process export compliance requirements, quality management systems and access pathways to high-end markets, laying a practical foundation for cooperation to help Indian organic products enter the European market in a compliant and stable manner.
Middle East & Eastern Europe Pavilion
In the Turkish exhibition area, the team visited the well-known enterprise Dervisoglu Bakliyat, learning in detail about the global trade flow of organic pulses and cereals. Meanwhile, the team also inspected the Bulgarian pavilion and exchanged views with local producers on the growth points of the Eastern European organic market.
Chinese Pavilion
The SRS team also maintained close interaction with long-term cooperative domestic enterprises. Both sides exchanged views on the performance of China’s competitive products such as frozen fruits and vegetables and organic grains in the European market. Mr. Xin Yuan encouraged Chinese enterprises to maintain product competitiveness while keeping a close eye on changes in international compliance standards, and respond to increasingly stringent global market access requirements with high-standard quality management.
Expanding the Network: Strengthening Technical Dialogues with European Accreditation Bodies and Bio Suisse
To ensure the rigor and forward-looking nature of certification technologies, SRS’s senior team actively engaged in dialogues with European regulatory and accreditation bodies.
Mr. Xin Yuan and Ms. Farzaneh held working meetings with representatives from the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) and the Polish branch of DQS, including Ms. Paulina Piskorska and Mr. Michal Rzytki. The two parties held practical technical consultations on risk management for certification bodies, auditor capacity building, and business development in the eastern EU region.
In addition, the SRS team met with representatives from Bio Suisse (Swiss Organic Farmers Association). Both sides conducted preliminary discussions on the high market access standards of the Swiss organic market and the potential for future technical cooperation. This exchange provided valuable insights for SRS to help its clients explore more high-end market access opportunities in the future.
Industry Governance: Deeply Performing EOCC Council Duties
Ms. Farzaneh, Certification Manager of SRS, also participated in the high-level thematic meeting of the council in her capacity as Vice President of the European Organic Certification Bodies’ Council (EOCC).
At the forum, she interpreted the new EU regulations on group certification for small-scale farmers and provided compliance guidance for export enterprises worldwide.
